Easy Beef Vegetable Noodle Soup

- 1 pound lean ground beef or 99% ground turkey
- 1 10oz. bag frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 cups (dry) whole wheat elbow macaroni
- 1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Brown ground beef and garlic in a large 4-quart pan, drain excess oil.
- Add vegetables, noodles, diced tomatoes, broth, water, garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
- Simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
