- 1 Joseph's Heart Friendly Pita
- 2 Tablespoons Contadina Pizza Sauce (or preferred sugar-free tomato sauce)
- ¼ Cup Fat-Free Mozzarella Cheese (I have also used low-moisture skim mozzarella for additional points)
- 6-8 Turkey Pepperoni
- Baby Spinach
- ¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- Additional toppings as preferred like onions, bell pepper, mushroom, etc.
- Place pita on a pizza stone or baking pan.
- Spread pizza sauce over top of pita and sprinkle with garlic powder and ½ of Italian seasoning.
- Sprinkle with half of cheese, then add toppings. Add remainder of cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 7-10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese has melted. (Time will vary depending on oven and your preferences of doneness)
