Oven Fried Pork Chops

Ingredients
  • 4 5-ounce center cut pork loin chops
  • ½ C pineapple juice
  • 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 large egg white, lightly beaten
  • ⅓ C bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Cooking spray
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray broiler pan with low-fat cooking spray.
  3. Make sure all fat is trimmed from pork chops with a sharp knife.
  4. In a small bowl, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and egg and mix well.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the bread crumbs and dry seasonings.
  6. Dip pork chops into the wet mixture, followed by the dry mixture so they are fully coated with seasonings.
  7. Place pork chops in prepared broiler pan, and place in oven. Cook for 50 minutes, or until meat is tender and no longer pink inside.
