  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 can fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅛ cup lite soy sauce or Bragg's Liquid Amino's
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1½ teaspoons chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses
  1. In a large skillet, brown ground meat until mostly cooked through. Drain excess grease and rinse well to remove grease.
  2. Place all other ingredients into blender and pulse until well mixed. There may be some small bits but you want it mostly smooth.
  3. Pour ground meat into your slow cooker and cover with sauce.
  4. Stir well and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours.
  5. If preferred, you may simmer over meat on the stovetop for 30 minutes to reduce and thicken the sauce before serving.
