Pretzel Crusted Chicken Nuggets with Honey Mustard

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 20 Pretzel Sticks or Mini pretzels
  • ¼ cup spicy brown mustard
  • ¼ cup skim milk
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Put pretzels in a plastic zippered bag and seal. Crush using a rolling pin, heavy glass, or a food processor.
  3. Use 3 shallow containers to create your dredging station.
  4. Place the flour with pepper and garlic into one. Place the milk and mustard into a second container. Place the crushed pretzels into the final container.
  5. Cut chicken into small bite-sized pieces.
  6. Dredge chicken in flour, then mustard mixture, and finally pretzel pieces.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-23 minutes, until golden brown.
