Healthy Ham & Pea Pasta Salad

Ingredients
  • 1 pound whole wheat spiral pasta
  • 1 cup peppered ham, cubed
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 12oz bag frozen green peas
  • 1½ cups nonfat plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon chives
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup nonfat buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions drain and set aside
  2. Chop ham and bell peppers and add to pasta
  3. Mix together yogurt, buttermilk, lemon juice and seasonings until well blended
  4. Pour over pasta and toss to coat well
  5. Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  6. Add salt & pepper to taste if needed
