Every relationship goes through ups and downs. Having a rift, disagreeing or even job issues can put a strain on your marriage or commitment. Here are 7 Ways To Rekindle Romance In Your Relationship that are great for helping you get back on track. Not only will they help you to relax with your lover, but they are sure to bring a smile and spark back into your relationship.

7 WAYS TO REKINDLE ROMANCE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP

Go Back To Your First Date. Sometimes we just need to go back to where we started to remember why we began in the first place. Set up a special date night at the same place you spent your first date together. If that isn't physically possible (moved, no longer there, etc.) try to do something similar. Make sure to get dressed up and make it feel like a real date.
Laugh Together. Nothing helps lighten the mood and make you smile together like a good laugh. Play games, go to a comedy show or just pop in a great classic comedy on DVD. Just make sure it's something you will both enjoy and can laugh together about.
Be Honest In The Bedroom. Physical intimacy is one of the most important parts of any relationship. Sometimes being together for several years, having kids and life stress can cause issues not only in your communication in general, but also in the bedroom. As awkward as it may seem, sit down (or snuggle up) and spend some time talking about how you can improve things. Be honest about what you want and need, but also be willing to listen to the other half of the relationship as well. Compromise and understanding is the most important part of these kinds of comversations.
Make Time For Dates & Couple Time. Without The Kids. It can be tough to find child care that is affordable for a weekend away. Especially if you live away from your family and close friends. Check out local Parents Night Out programs at church's and YMCA's or offer to swap weekends with one of your kids friends parents giving them a date night too. No matter what you do – make time for just the two of you. Leave kids and work behind and focus on your hopes, dreams and desires instead.
Take Up A Hobby As A Couple. Find something you both enjoy and spend time doing it together. Art classes, dance classes, fishing, hiking or going to a music production are all great ways to enjoy something together as a couple. He may not enjoy cross stitch and you may not enjoy fishing, but perhaps you can compromise by joining a bowling league together. Learning a new craft or sport together is great for sharing common interests and goals.
Seek Counseling. Sometimes as much as we may try, we still can't seem to get to the root of the problem. Don't wait too long. Check out local counselors who can help you see each others side and work toward repairing problems in your relationship. Check with your pastor, friends or local counseling center for recommendations on qualified help in your area.
Communicate Lovingly Throughout The Day. Send him a loving or sexy text, email or voice mail during the day. Drop a card or note into his bag or pocket for him to find later. Allude to intimate things, or simply say a simple “I love you and I'm thinking about you”. Make sure that your spouse knows they are on your mind throughout the day.
While every relationship has it's down times, these 7 Ways To Rekindle Romance are sure to help get back on track. If abuse or infidelity exist within your relationship, then these tips may not be the path you should be looking. If you are in a rough spot and simply need to boost things, then you've found some great tips to help you through the valley and up the hill. No matter where you are in your relationship, remember that communication is the key to success.
