I am a snacker. It’s a bad habit when the food isn’t good for you, but not so bad when you make my Healthy Veggie Dip Recipe. This recipe is so easy, super yummy, and most of all it is even easy to enjoy on the Weight Watchers plan! Since I’ve been doing Weight Watchers Beyond The Scale, I have found that using SmartPoints is really easy to keep me on track. Especially when I already need a boost of encouragement to eat my veggies. This dip is a great choice!
Healthy Veggie Dip Recipe
I will say right away, this veggie dip contains that classic package of vegetable dip mix. A lot of people really avoid using this because of the sodium content. I get that. I truly understand, and yes, I tend to avoid excessive sodium too when I can. However, sometimes it is just an option I have on hand because I need something to snack on that I can control and enjoy. This veggie dip helps me eat more vegetables, and is satisfying. That keeps me from binging on things like chips and cheese dip. So, this is one of those options I have no guilt about. However, make the choice that suits you best!
Ingredients for Veggie Dip:
8 oz. Fat-Free Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Low Fat Sour Cream
4 Tablespoon Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix
1/4 Cup 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. If your cream cheese is too stiff, allow to sit out for a few minutes to soften.
- Mix in soup mix and cheddar cheese until well incorporated.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to combine.
I love using the Fresh & Fit Dip Server to store this in the fridge. It is perfect for holding the dip in the middle and keeping it cold, while also giving you perfect storage for the veggies you place around the dip. Just perfect and easy for carrying to parties or just having on hand. I also have been known to bag the veggies into 1 cup portions, then use mini storage containers for the dip. This makes it super easy to just grab and go on busy days.

I love that this gives you tons of flavor making eating veggies easier to manage. This veggie dip makes around 2 cups of dip. So, for 1/4 cup of dip, with veggies, I can have a great snack that is healthy and low in points. That’s why this is my go-to dip to make when I head out to friends for parties or gatherings!
Serve this veggie dip with some sliced carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, and my favorite sugar snap peas. If you have extra calories or SmartPoints to use, crackers are great. I love the garden vegetable wheat crackers, but they add up fast, so I try to eat just the veggies with this dip!
